AmeriCorps NCCC Team 9, Class VIII
Project 1: Habitat for Humanity Germantown

From November 1, 2001, to December 18, 2001 we worked with Habitat for Humanity in Germantown, PA. There we did a gut rehab of a house for a family of 6. The house was completed by Christmas, and the family was able to make the transition from their one-room apartment to their very own home in time for the holidays.
